Your great-grandparents didn’t need Roundup to kill weeds, neither should you.For many years, I've watched Bonnie put on her "weeding face" and head to the yard to spend hours weeding. Each week during spring, summer, and fall, Bonnie tackles a never-ending battle against weeds.
Gardeners have been fighting weeds since agriculture began, using only manual labor to do so, a difficult, dirty, and time-consuming task. Recently, science introduced toxic herbicides as a solution, but they harm both human health and the environment. There has been no safe, efficient way to keep lawns, gardens, sports fields, golf courses, and parks weed-free - until now. We aim to revolutionize this, starting with one landscape at a time. |
A CORDLESS, POWERED SPRAYER THAT KILLS WEEDS ORGANICALLY WITH A JET OF BOILING WATER – LITERALLY COOKING THEM IN THE GROUND.
The Zot uses the same method that our grandparents used – boiling water. After making their morning cup of tea, they’d take the hot water out into the garden and pour it out on the weeds.

WHAT MAKES THE ZOT DIFFERENT?
THE ROOT OF THE PROBLEMUnless you kill the root, the weed will just regrow. Unlike steamers and torches, the heat from the Zot is concentrated at the crown and penetrates below ground killing tissue at the top of the root and making regeneration less likely. No need to lug a fire extinguisher, no need for a cone to cover the weed you’re trying to kill – just point and shoot.
